05Your first class
You don't need to be good. Just be early.
Walking into a new studio can feel like a lot. Here's exactly what happens, from booking to the end of class.

- 01
Book a Foundations class
Pick a time on the timetable. The intro pack covers any group class.
- 02
Arrive 15 minutes early
Check in, fill in a short health form and stow your things in a locker.
- 03
Your instructor sets you up
Mention any injuries here. They'll show you the springs and the options to use.
- 04
Move for 50 minutes, at your pace
Rest any time — nobody's comparing. Your instructor will come round to help.
- 05
Shower and go
Showers, towels and dryers are ready. BTS is a 6-minute walk.
Meet the reformer
A reformer is a bed with a sliding carriage. Adjustable springs provide the resistance, so one exercise can be made lighter or stronger for each person.
What to bring
- Grip socks (or buy at the desk, ฿250)
- Fitted clothes that won't catch on springs
- A water bottle (free refills)
- No mat needed — we have everything
- 1CarriageWhere you lie, sit or kneel — it glides along the frame.
- 2SpringsColour-coded by tension — your instructor calls the setting.
- 3FootbarPress with feet or hands to move the carriage.
- 4StrapsPulled with hands or feet for arm and leg work.
- 5Shoulder blocksKeep you in place while lying down.
- 6HeadrestAdjusts so your neck feels supported.
First-timer questions
Pilates is exercise, not medical treatment. If you are pregnant, injured or unsure about your health, check with your doctor before starting and always tell your instructor before class.
Do I need to be fit or flexible?
Not at all. Springs can be made lighter and every exercise has options.
I'm pregnant — can I join?
Please check with your doctor first and let us know beforehand. We suggest a private session so your instructor can give full attention.
What if I have an injury?
Get advice from a doctor or physio first, and tell your instructor before every class so they can adapt or skip exercises. We're not a medical provider.
Is it for men too?
Absolutely — every class is open to everyone.
Are there English-taught classes?
Yes — look for the EN badge on the timetable.
